I am so in love with these boots. You can’t go wrong with Uggs. For anyone who knows anything about quality, comfort, fashion, and style the name Uggs first comes to mind.
They are well worth the price, quality always is. I have tried a less expensive brand. They didn’t last for more than one winter (the sole separated), and my feet froze. Not with Uggs. Uggs has put some kind of EVA outsoles and midsoles – I’ll be honest, I’m not sure what that means but it gives them that durability that I was looking for, and the comfortable feel and fit.
They have a real sheepskin lining, which felt like a built-in heater for my toes. One thing that is kind of different is that these boots are designed to be worn without socks. If you feel like you want to put on a pair of woolies, don’t. The fit just isn’t the same. Uggs says that the sheepskin conforms to your feet by the way they designed it. I found that to be true. The sizes are whole, not ½, so don’t forget to order down.
I especially like the narrower, slim design as it doesn’t make my feet look like I’m a walking grizzly bear. But the Uggs Ultimate short boot is made of shearling which gives it that sleek, stylish look.
They are not that furry design like some of the Uggs Classics. For me, that makes them more versatile. I decided to go with the black color this time to coordinate with everything. But next, I am going to order the chocolate brown. I go for the best that I can afford, knowing that quality and comfort are there and I can wear them for a long, long time.
